PaD Jan 24

Had a weird conversation with Kelsey today. I was sitting at my desk in the office and she was in the kitchen eating her breakfast. She had been sitting out there for a good ten minutes. She should have been done with it by now. All she had was toast, scrambled eggs, a little sausage and some bacon. Here's what I heard coming from the other room.
"Eyes"

"Nose"

"Mouth"

"Eyebrows"

"Mom..."

"Mom!!!"

Me: "Hmmmm?"

"Mom, I ate his eyes. Then the back of his head!"

Me: "Oh no! What about his brain? (I knew she had been playing with her food)

"They were good."

This kid is such a silly girl. She is almost ten years old and still plays with her food. I don't like that she plays with her food. I do love that she still has so much little girl left in her though. She is my youngest and I don't want her growing up faster than she needs to. I hope she's still playing with her food when she's twelve. Not really but I just hope she still has the little girl in her. Kids today just grow up way too fast and I'm not comfortable with that. I've already seen that in my boys.

That's making me seriously hungry.

Oh yeah, comment on the post, right. I love that she still has that sense of innocence about her. I hope Raya and Bryce maintain that for a long while too.
