Website is FINALLY Done!!!!!

http://www.mcdonelphotography.com/
After many months of procrastination and waiting for the right pictures - my website is finally ready for the world to see. I can't tell you how much of a relief this is to me. It has been weighing on my shoulders very heavily lately. Along with the photo responsibilities I've had recently which are also done (whew!!!!) I feel like I can breath.
If you get a chance to look at the website, please leave a comment and let me know what you think.

My kids are probably so sick of me sitting at this computer of mine. Well apparently they're not that sick of me sitting here since they want me to make an E-bay account and sell some of their video games. They are wanting to buy some newer games and they have no money to fund their wishes. Hopefully their old games will sell and I'll be done with E-bay.

J & J Engagement Session

Well today I got together with the Perry County Camera Club out at Charlie's farm. Wow, what gorgeous scenery. It was a hot and humid 95 degrees but it was a great day anyway. J & J where there to get their engagement photos taken and were such great sports. I'm hoping that all my future clients are as easy to work with. He was so funny - he said to her when I told him to look at her that she was funny looking. I am sure he was joking. She is a beautiful girl - she should have been a model. You guys are so fun to be around. Here are a couple sneak peeks:

Just a Small Part of my Mother's Day

My sweet girls suprised me Mother's Day morning with this gorgeous arrangement of wild flowers and grasses growing around our place. It was so beautiful, but I knew it wouldn't last long so I had to get a picture of it. The girls sure do have some talent for arranging flowers. I remember when I was a little girl gathering dandelions and queen anne's lace flowers to give to my mom. My bouquets for her were just round blobs, but this bouquet looked like something out of an old fashioned wedding or something. Thank you Sara and Kelsey. I love the flowers more than you know.

"Uh, we need security down in the cow pasture as soon as possible"

My daughter (the one in the blue shirt) went along on the photoshoot last night. Her friend "A" is the little sister of the senior I had a session with. They've been talking all week long about going "COW TIPPING". Yeah, like these little girls could actually "tip" a cow. Bwahhh, ha,ha ha. They are so funny together. "A" seems to name all the cows. I think she will be working there before too long. Anyway, here is a funny picture I took of the girls during the senior session last night. It was too funny not to share.

Don't they just look like a bunch of "Hicks"? They're so silly.
Oh yeah, NO KIDS OR COWS WERE HURT IN THE MAKING OF THIS PHOTO. There was a fence in between the girls and the cows. I cloned it out with Photoshop.

First Senior Boy!!!!

Tonight I had the pleasure of photographing this nice young man. Since this was the first time to "shoot" a boy, I was quite nervous. I am used to working with babies and girls. It turned out to be a really nice evening though. There was no reason for me to be nervous at all. I even got a ride through the cow pasture on a Gator. "J" is a country boy at heart and he wanted pictures to show that. I think he and his mom will be pleased with the pictures. We got a lot of good ones tonight. Here's a quick peek at two of the images. Hope you like them. It was fun working with you all. Thanks for the opportunity. Theresa - if you have a chance leave me a message and let me know what you think.
