Fall

At the end of a long Summer the kids go back to school.




One or more of them is bound to get sick.


The farmers cut down their corn, a chill fills the air and all of a sudden something terrible happens.


It's Ladybug Hell.




Here's a close up of the dirt they leave behind year after year after year.

Now, when I was a little girl, I loved ladybugs. Needless to say: Not anymore!!!

But with Fall comes something beautiful also. The colors. I love the colors of Fall.








And with the Fall we've had some stormy weather. Our side yard filled with water the other day. I remember a few years ago, when we still had the ducks, they would swim in our side yard. lol.











With Fall comes the realization that Winter is fast on it's tail. Oh how I hate winter. I hope we have a nice warm long Fall ahead of us. I sure do wish I could hibernate.

Part 2 of Summertime Blues

The Last Day of Summer - Summertime Blues!!!

Has is really been that long since I've updated this old blog? The last time I put anything on here was Feb. 11, 2009. Jeez a lou!!!! Anyway, on with this post:

I had the pleasure of spending the day with my girlie, Charlie. She is so much fun to hang out with. She's been gone for nearly four months visiting her sisters in Illinois. One is very sick so she didn't want to come home. I was sure glad to see her when she did come home. I got to her place around 11 and said "Let's go shoot something" So shoot we did. She took pictures of me and I took pictures of her. We took pictures of cows, cats, fields, the gorgeous country sky, flowers, etc. I realized how much I missed this old girl. Ha, ha, Charlie, you could still probably out run me! We went back in and had lunch and looked at some pictures. Finally we went back out for another round of picture taking. Well, I'll be: She did 2 photoshoots of me and she got some great shots. I am a person who does not like to get her picture taken and she knows it. She did a great job. I am very pleased with the pictures she got. The beautiful country setting makes for a nice background also. Thanks Charlie. Anyway I guess I will show you her pictures first. Be ready for an overload of pictures of me. Here we go:
